Our Family Tradition
of harvesting mineral rich, maple sap in Northern Wisconsin began just off the banks of the Potato River. Winters here are notoriously harsh, making each spring warm up as sweet as maple syrup.
Spring of 1929 welcomed the family's first evaporator and marked the beginning of our passion for sapping and the outdoors. After 47 seasons, Ragged Ass Syrup Company was born and has since been passed through the generations, evolving from hobby to legacy.
Every tap symbolizes the importance of family tradition; and while sapping is sure to run you ragged ass tired, there is no replacement for the memories and traditions it creates.
Decades have since passed
as quickly as sap flows, but one thing remains the same.
